Environmental Services: Site Assessments
Access Engineering assists developers, lending institutions, buyers and sellers in managing the potential environmental liabilities arising from the use, storage and disposal of hazardous materials and petroleum products on real properties.
Depending on the needs of the client and the attributes of a specific property, we can provide Phase I Site Assessments performed in accordance with the recognized ASTM Standard E 1527 work scope or a variety of other investigative approaches that will provide the desired level of due diligence for a given transaction.
More often than not, we can confidently evaluate the potential environmental risks on a property without further, intrusive testing. If necessary, though, our capabilities include surveys for asbestos-containing materials and radon; Phase II soil, surface water and groundwater sampling and analysis; and other testing procedures that can provide more complete assessment of site conditions. Furthermore, we are fully capable of conducting comprehensive contamination assessments on sites that have been impacted by hazardous waste or petroleum products, and cost-effective site remediation or cleanup.
Each site investigation is performed by a highly qualified and experienced environmental practitioner, and overseen by a licensed professional. We conduct field sampling and analytical services in accordance with a State-approved quality assurance project plan.

Our standard scope of services and contract terms, as well as sample Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessment reports, are available for review at your request.
